Goodbye 2011! Hello 2012!

So, it's almost 2012! It's so crazy how fast this year went! This year was probably my favorite year. Cuz so much has happened! (Okay, mostly because of Daniel... but still! :) hehe) But really, this year has been my favorite year so far. 

-Had a "year of no liking guys" party where I met Daniel (When I met him, I didn't think of anything about him. I never thought we would click and hang out and get married.) 

-Held hands for the first time with Daniel. (well okay that's a lie. I held hands with about 3 other guys before him but they were players... so it doesn't count.) :) 

-Had my first kiss ever. Honestly I wasn't expecting it, we were just talking and he then told me he liked me a lot. I was like, oh my gosh, really??? (well, I kind of knew cuz we were cuddling all the time and holding hands... but that's besides the point) and we were talking and it dawned on me that I haven't been kissed so I was like "um, will you believe me if I told you I've never been kissed?" He's like "Really? That surprises me! What if I was your first?" awww! How cute is that??? So I was like umm... okay (I was a little nervous cuz ya know, it was my first kiss! So he kissed me and at first I was like that was it? and then I was like.. Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! I got my first kiss!!! hehehe! :) 

-Daniel became my first boyfriend ever too. It was the day before Valentine's Day too! How cute is that?? :) 

-almost 4 months later, he proposed to me. :) 

-6 months later in the Idaho Falls LDS temple we became Husband and Wife. 

This year has been a year of firsts. :) and I love it. I'm excited to see what's in store for us in the upcoming year. 

Honeymoon!

I had the most amazing Honeymoon ever!!! Went to the Maaco Bowl , met most of Daniel's family in Arizona, and flew in a helicopter! It was SOOOO fun! 

Thursday the 22nd: 

Daniel wanted to leave at 4 in the morning (it takes 10 hours to get to Vegas) including the time change so it was still 10 hours but still... and the game started at 5 Vegas time. So I was a little worried we wouldn't make it cuz if we ran into traffic or snow, ya know? so anyways, we got up at 4:30 and didn't leave the house till 5. and... well I slept the whole way. well sorta, I woke up about every hour because one of my body parts fell asleep. It was really annoying. So anyways, We got there at 3, right on time. It was really impressive, got into the hotel room, and then walked to the stadium. It was only a 20 minute walk so that was good. We didn't want to pay 10 dollars for parking. So we got to the stadium, and realized we were sitting really close to the field! We were 5 rows up! It was sooo cool! oh and they won, which wasn't a big surprise cuz we are awesome. I don't know what I'm gonna do because it was Kellen Moore's last game, I want to cry. haha hopefully he makes it into the NFL! If not, well... I guess I don't know what I'm gonna do. lol anyways, Boise State won, and the seniors won a total of 50 games and lost 3. It's pretty impressive. I'm honored to be apart of Bronco Nation. :) 

Friday the 23rd: 

We slept in, had lunch and got on the road to head to Arizona but then I saw a sign that said "Helicopter ride $29" So I was like that would be fun!! so we checked it out but it said it was all sold out, so I was a little bummed. but he said we might do it later when we come back from Arizona. So I was like hope so!! It would be fun!! Then, like 2 seconds later, we stopped at the Hoover Dam! That was sooo cool!! This is a view from the bridge. it was soo cool! Then we went on our way to Mesa. 

We got to the Hotel around 8 that night and settled in, got dominos and watched TV and then went to bed. 


Saturday the 24th: Christmas Eve! 
Got up and waited for Daniel's parents to pick us up to go to Daniel's grandparents condo to swim. I kinda wanted to swim but I didn't really want to get my hair wet, so we just hung out with his parents and Jen. That was fun, then everyone got out of the pool and while the parents were getting the food ready we visited the family and got to know them. It was pretty fun! then we ate Christmas Eve lunch. It was so fun getting to know his family. Later that night for Christmas Dinner we ended up going to Panda Express. Oh my heck, I've been craving that for like 6 months. It was so good. :)  


Sunday the 25th: Christmas Day! 
So, we got up to go to Sacrament Meeting for Christmas but Daniel's pants didn't fit so we ended up not going. :( It made me sad, but oh well. what can you do? I know, BUY NEW ONES! :) Good thing he told me he would buy some new ones before Sunday. :) Anyways, we just hung out in the hotel room before his parents picked us up to eat and every restaurant seemed to be closed! Weird for Christmas, right? ;) haha so we ended up going to Jack in the Box. Weird . :) Anyways, We all got to go to the Mesa Temple visitor's center. His grandparents are serving a service mission there so all the family got to have a tour before the Visitor's center even opened. it was so fun! We watched a video about family's being together for eternity. It was so great sitting by my husband watching that video. I knew I would be with him for eternity. It was a neat experience. :) Then we all took pictures in front of the Christus. Then Me and Daniel and his parents and aunt and cousin went into a room and watched a Joseph Smith movie. It was so great. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a great Christmas. 


Monday the 26th: 
We got up drove to Hoover dam again by the Helicopter rides and got in line and about half an hour later the guy says "we have 2 more tickets!" and we were right at the window when he said that, it was a little weird, but I was sooo excited!!! We got into the Helicopter and I was a little nervous! which was a little weird because I've been in an airplane. haha so we waited a little while longer and it was finally our turn! Oh my heck it was so fun!! it went over the Hoover Dam, and a lake. it was sooo fun. 

After, we went into a hotel and had a lunch buffet. It was so yummy, then we headed for home. We didn't stop. He just kept driving. We got home at 4:00 this morning! Yeah, my husband is crazy. He didn't want to stop at a hotel, cuz he wasn't tired! But, we made it home safely. :) This week was so fun. (I know, I have said that like a million times, but I can say it again. IT WAS A GREAT WEEK/WEEKEND! :) Thanks babe for the greatest honeymoon ever! :) Love you!!! 

Officially a Romrell

So, apparently you can't just automatically change your last name right when you get married. Lame, right? I thought so. I had to do it myself! (that might make me sound really lazy. But oh well. cuz I am. :) haha) so today I went into the Social Security Office expecting it to be like an hour long process, but it was only like 5 minutes. It was awesome. I just had to tell them I got married and I needed to change my last name. Easy! It was sweet. So now, I'm officially Emily Alyse Romrell. No longer Johnson. It's so crazy! But I like it. :) Cuz that means I am officially Daniel's wife. ;) haha okay not really, but sorta. 

I then went to change my name on my Driver's license. I was in there for about 5 minutes too. I like places that take short time. It makes me happy. 

oh! and tomorrow is my reception in Kuna. I am so stoked for that. I hope a lot of people show up for that one! I am so paranoid and think there won't be anyone there, but we'll see. :) 

Honeymoon/vacation

So this will be a random post, but I'm super bored. So it will be most likely boring. haha 

So next Wednesday we leave for Vegas. We're gonna stop in Utah and stay at my grandma's for the night so we don't have to drive a million hours in a row. Cuz I hate long road trips as it is as you might know. :) anyways, We'll be stopping in Utah in West Valley for the night at my grandma's house. Then we'll be leaving the next day for Vegas. We'll be going to the Maaco Bowl (I AM SOOOO EXCITED FOR THAT GAME!) and then sleep in Vegas for the night in a CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP hotel. Cuz we aren't that rich. But I guess paying for hotels in Vegas isn't that expensive... cuz it's Vegas and people gamble all the freakin time. lol  

Then the next day on the 23rd we are driving to Mesa, Arizona for his family reunion. I am so excited to meet the rest of his family. It will be a great 3-4 days. :) I can't wait for it. The whole trip is basically is my honeymoon. I am sooo excited!! 

Oh, did I mention that my sister is coming home in 2 days for Christmas break? I'M SO GOSH DARN EXCITED! that's all. :) 

Welp, it's official.

I have the greatest husband ever. that's all. :) but seriously, he's so great. a couple weeks ago, he told me that since we won't be here for Christmas, (We'll be in Arizona for his family reunion) that we won't get a tree so I was really sad and wasn't expecting to get a tree. But last night he told me he wouldn't be home till 6 so I thought that he was having a staff meeting or something so I was like okay, sounds good. then all of a sudden he calls me, I pick up assuming it was him... but it was my sister. I was super confused and then he pulled in the garage, and then all of a sudden my mom's car was there and then I saw my dad pull up in his truck I thought, what the heck is going on??? haha not that I didn't like seeing my parents I was just really confused. :) so then he came through the front door with a tree. Isn't he cute? But wait, there's more. :) 

a couple months ago we didn't know what we wanted to do for our honeymoon. He texted me saying "what if we waited to see where BSU goes for their bowl game? I thought that was the greatest idea he's ever had! I was so excited to see where they were headed. They are going to Las Vegas in case you didn't know. :) So, yesterday we were looking at prices and they were darn expensive. and we aren't that rich, keep in mind. But, last night he purchased tickets and I am SOOOOO excited!!! I can't wait! then the day after we are driving to Arizona for his family reunion and we are spending Christmas there. I am so excited to meet more of his family. It's gonna be a blast. 

The day I married my best friend

Once upon a time in a land known as Idaho Falls, Idaho there was a girl that got married in the Idaho Falls LDS temple to her best friend. 

That's right people, that girl is ME!! I am finally married and it's sooo amazing! When people say they love married life, they weren't kidding! It's so fun. Let me tell you what happened. :) 

We got to Idaho Falls on Thursday, we drove to Rexburg to pick up my best friend/maid of honor who lives in Colorado and she came up for my wedding. Great friend. :) then we got to Daniel's sister's house and played some games. and I kept saying "so and so hours and minutes!" I might have driven the people crazy. then my sister needed a model of my bouquet so she could make a real one so we drove to the hotel, gave her the bouquet and then went back to the place where I was staying and Daniel went with his parents to stay with them. 

Friday: THE BIG DAY! This day I was extremely calm (well, I was trying to act calm, in my head I was like "OH MY GOSH! I'M GETTING MARRIED TODAY TO MY BEST FRIEND!!" It was pretty impressive, I might say. haha so at about 10 I went to the hotel where my family was staying so my aunt could do my hair and makeup. that took about 2 hours, I was worried that I wouldn't make it to the temple on time. I get paranoid easily. haha 

anyways, after I got my hair and makeup done, Daniel and I went to the temple and split up for awhile while my mom helped me with my dress and we sat in there for awhile while people filled into the room where we were getting sealed. then the sealer came into where we were sitting and sat and talked to us for awhile. He then told us it's time to go get sealed and I was about to pass out. (Mostly cuz my mother tied my dress WAY too tight ) and because I was sooo excited. we got in there and I thought "this is real. I'm really getting married!!" 

The sealer gave his little speil and when he said "you may now kiss" I was like woah, I am married!!! This is so weird!" But I was so excited! After the sealing, We went our separate ways again while we took our temple clothes off over our wedding stuff. Then we went to the luncheon and the reception. The reception was so much fun. I loved it. all in all it was a perfect day. 

Then there's the wedding night. But, I will save you the trouble cuz there might be little kids reading this. You're welcome. 

So now, I'm married. and loving every minute of it. I'm excited to see where life takes us.

Wait, what?

Soooo... I'm getting married in 3 days. Wait, what? Yes, THREE! is that crazy or what? I thought so... It's so crazy how fast it has come. One day I was just sitting thinking about how my wedding is going to be in 25 weeks and then BAM! here it is. So weird. :) 

But, I'm so glad that it is finally here. You know how impatient I am? Yes, very impatient. so I thought 6 months was a really long wait. But, in reality it's not.


Tomorrow is my last day of work before I'm a married woman. It's so weird. On Thursday, Daniel and I are leaving for Idaho Falls. I can't wait to become Emily Alyse Romrell. It's gonna be a beautiful day. and I discovered something... my initials are gonna be EAR. SWEET! haha 

Oh, and last Friday me and Daniel went through the temple for the first time, EVER. It was such an amazing experience. I am proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That's all folks! Until next time! :D :D 

Utah so far/Bridal Shower

This week in Utah has been fun so far! It's only Wednesday Morning! 


On Monday we stopped in Logan and met my sister that I haven't seen in a month (Yes. a month is a long time when you aren't able to see your favorite sister.) and I met her boyfriend (that she didn't tell me about for about 5 days. I was pretty much offended) totally thought they were cute together. too bad he still has a mission to go on. :) anyways, after I met Jake, we all went to Olive Garden. That was super yummy. and then me and my mom went to a hotel while Andrea and Abby stayed at Hayley's dorm. 


Tuesday we got up, picked up Hayley and the other girls from her dorm and drove to my Grandma's house in West Valley. We got there around noon and watched some movies had some pizza and that night was my bridal shower. That was sooo fun. It was really fun seeing people I haven't seen in forever. Lots of cookies, and lots of fun. thanks everyone for coming! It was super fun. 


Oh, and totally 9 more days till I get married. That's all. :) 

Thanksgiving!!

So, I am sooo excited for Thanksgiving next week. 

Oh my heck, I love food! What better way to eat food and celebrate it? :) I sure hope I don't gain like 20 pounds though so I can't fit into my wedding dress. that would be horrible. and very sad.

 But I am so excited. We are going to Utah to see my family for it! :) I am also having a Bridal Shower with all of my Utah friends, I'm excited for that too! :) 

 The day after Thanksgiving, me and Daniel are going through the temple and getting our endowments out for the first time. I am sooo excited, I've heard it's amazing. Honestly I have no idea what to expect. I am looking forward to it. :) 

I can't wait to see all my family and spend time with them. It's gonna be a good week. :) 

Bridals in Idaho Falls

This last weekend me and Daniel went up to Idaho Falls to take my bridals, Well our bridals since he was in some of the pictures. Yes, he was in some of the pictures and yes he did see my dress, but since the photographer can't take pictures of the "first impression" pictures in the temple, we just decided to go with it. I was pretty nervous. lol so anyways, here's how the weekend went. 


Thursday: 
got up, left for Idaho Falls... not that exciting cuz I hate long car rides, I get so impatient... haha but we got there and got his tux. He got fitted, then we went to pick up my wedding dress at Margene's (the Margene's here in Boise shipped it to the one in Idaho Falls so I didn't have to worry about it going there.) then we got to his sisters house and had the best chicken enchiladas ever! They were sooo yummy! then we went to bed. 


Friday: Picked up my dress, picked up his tux and he tried it on, I decided we are going to look SOOO good on our wedding day. Realized that it was 3 weeks to our wedding, oh my gosh! I can't believe it! It's so close!  :) 


Saturday: Photographer (Daniel's sisters sister) got to the house (like I have to explain almost every time. Daniel got adopted with his brothers by a different family while his sisters got adopted by this family that we stayed with. and the photographer is Daniel's sisters sister. Does that make sense? Okay just so anyone who reads this doesn't get it next time I talk about it... haha) and did my hair and makeup. It looked sooo good. :) and then it was cold and snowy and windy and I was not going to take my pictures in that, so Jaimee (photographer) called up the Hilton and asked if we could use their hotel cuz it was really nice (and when I say nice I mean REALLY PRETTY) and it had the temple in the background. PERFECT! :) anyways, as I was putting my dress on in the bathroom, and Daniel waiting in the lobby, I was like what if he doesn't like it??? I was pretty nervous not gonna lie. haha but anyways, Daniel and Jaimee were taking pictures of just him and then I walked in with his back turned and we were taking pictures with his back towards me, and finally Jaimee was like okay Daniel, you can turn around. he was pretty nervous about turning around, I could tell. haha oh before I go on, I should mention that we watched an episode of Good Luck Charlie the day before and it was of Teddie had a dream that she and Emmett were gonna kiss and she didn't like Emmett at all and Emmett dreamed about kissing Teddie his whole life and she told him about the dream and they went in to kiss and all of a sudden Emmett pulls back and says "what if it's not as perfect as I dreamed it was? I'd rather keep the dream"


okay, back to the story, so right as he turned he was thinking of that scene in his head, and as soon as he turned around he had this big smile on his face, he liked it. He loved it! :) In between shots he was always saying you are so pretty. I was pretty happy. :) It was so fun. I can't wait to marry him. :) oh and we also went to our spot where we got engaged. But it was SUPER cold so we only took about 2. haha oh and while we were in the hotel the BSU game was playing and they ended up losing... I was very upset. 


Sunday: We woke up went to church with his parents and then we went back to his parents and had dinner. It was sooo yummy. and then we ended up on the couch talking about football and where BSU would end up ranked. It was so fun. and then we headed back to his sisters so we could pack up our stuff and head home. 


It was a lovely weekend. I loved it. Except for the fact BSU losing of course. That was a real bummer, but it was still fun to hang out with Daniel's family. I can't wait to be apart of it. 

My sister, Hayley. :)

So I know this is a random post but yes, I have to blog about my sister. I mean seriously, who doesn't want to blog about her? Here goes: 

Most of my life, I always was comparing myself to her. I mean have you seen her? She's gorgeous. She was in FFA and being social and going out and I was doing nothing but sitting at home and watching Disney Channel. (Which isn't bad because ya know, it's Disney Channel... :)) but, seriously, I didn't do anything. I felt like a loser. haha but anyways, when I lived with her, I was always comparing myself to her. You wanna know why? Well, I'll tell you why. 

1. She's gorgeous. 

2. She's was always going places like Washington D.C. or Indiana. 

3. She was always with her friends. (I never went out and did things with friends... just at school) 

4. She was in the counsel for Seminary, Drama, and FFA

5. She had a million dates. (okay not really, just seemed like it.) 

6. She's so amazing and just loves her family 

7. She's funny and makes me laugh all the time

8. She's my sister. that's a good reason right? 

Now can you see why I was always comparing myself to her? Yep. Now she's at Utah State having the time of her life. I'm so glad we get to talk all the time via: Facebook and texting. I'm so glad we are related too. then my life would be pretty boring. That's all. Love you Hayley! :) 

New Home! :)

So, I was super worried like 2 months ago that we would be homeless when we got married. Seriously, I was like, "Oh my goodness, what if we don't find a house???? what if we have to live with my parents????" Which isn't really bad, but we need privacy sometimes ya know? so anyways, we were looking at houses and we saw one online in Kuna that I thought was cute so we went to look at it, and the first step I stepped, I fell in love with it. I wanted it so bad! so we filled out applications and it took about 3 days for the property manager to email us and say "Congratulations! You got the house!" and when I say 3 days, I swear it was about 2 weeks. I was so impatient! haha and when I read that email, I thought I was dreaming. I was so stinkin happy! I moved out of the apartment in Boise, and now I am here. all alone... until Daniel moves in. It's a little lonely, but... there is open WIFI here... (HOW COOL IS THAT???) and it's basically the cutest house I've ever lived in! I freaking love it. I will add pictures later. Can these last 33 days come faster? I swear, people, If you plan to get married, don't wait for 6 months... haha okay, I have to admit there are some good things to being engaged for half a year... like:

Okay, I could only think of 2 good things... but still, it's such a freaking long time to be engaged, so if you are ever planning on getting married, go for about 2-4 months. That's just perfect. :) haha

Tonight, I went to my parents house to get announcements to send to people, and after I wrote down all the names on the computer for labels and right as I was printing... Bam! printer cartridge ran out of Black ink. Awesome. and then I put in the labels the wrong way so before the ink ran out it printed on the wrong side. again... awesome. So anyways, I hurried and wrote on the envelopes for the people who are going to go into the actual temple sealing with us and I'm just gonna do the rest before Friday. P.S. if anyone was wondering, they will be to you by next week! Hopefully! I'm so gosh darn excited!

Can't sleep

So I've been sitting here since 3:30 not being able to sleep.... ugh, it's so depressing. I love sleeping! so I got on craigslist to look for jobs. sent some resume's to jobs then I got on facebook (like always...) and I looked through pictures of Daniel and me, not gonna lie we are a cute looking couple. :) oh and I love him. that's all. 

oh and 9 months ago today he came over and "helped" me with my math! :) hehe okay he really did help! and then we held hands for the first time after. :) Story! :) 

So the night before he called me while I was sleeping... okay I wasn't sleeping I was almost asleep and I didn't hear my phone ring and I saw that I had a missed call and it was from Daniel so I texted him and was like oh hey sorry! I was almost asleep what did you need? and he says "oh I just wanted to call you for some old fashioned conversation" or something like that, isn't that adorable? I thought so. haha so anyways, I went to work and then I texted him saying something like "are you any good at math??" just as a joke, right? well, he texted me back saying "Sure am!!" PERFECT! I knew right then he was a keeper. ;) just kidding. but kinda. anyways, I was like you want to help me with my math tonight? :) so anyways, then he calls me and I pick up and we talk for about 10 minutes and he's like "I can come over and help you with your math. I can skip basketball practice to help" Yup, he said that. :) hehe so he comes over and we do math for about an hour, I about died... (remember I hate math... but I did get an 80 on the quiz the next day! It was pretty sweet. :)) and then my mom and dad were watching the news so we watched that with them for awhile and then they said they were going to bed, so I was like okay night! and then right when they closed their door he grabbed my hand and we held them for about 20 minutes while we talked. Okay I have to admit that my hand was close to his hand the entire time we were watching the news... haha but I wasn't expecting him to hold it! haha pretty great story right there. I love him so much and I can't wait to marry him in 37 days. :) 

Bridal Shower! :)

This past weekend was the most amazing weekend I have had in a long time. I got to see my sister after not seeing her for about 2 months. She came home for my bridal shower. Speaking of bridal shower, I never thought I was so loved! there were about 30 people there and each of them told me what they liked about me. Mostly it was my smile and how nice I am or I'm such an amazing person. which I didn't know that was possible cuz I didn't think I was that great of a person... okay that's a lie. I knew I was great, but not that great. Anyways, it was sooo fun. even tho my mother wanted to embarrass me telling people I can't cook... Which is true, but she didn't have to make me go in front of everyone and make brownies... haha... just kidding, it wasn't that bad and people told me that were yummy brownies so I must have done something right. whoever can read this and went to my shower, know that I LOVE YOU! You are so amazing and THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR COMING! :) You mean the world to me!   


So anyways, back to my sister. She's pretty much my favorite. Seriously. She makes me laugh alll the time. I love her attitude and how she laughs and I'm sooo glad I got to see her. I'm so glad she's having a great time in Utah at Utah State and I'm glad we text each other or facebook each other all the time. I love talking to her. She's awesome. that's all 

56 days! :)

Holy Moly people! We are down to 56 days! I can't believe it! It's so crazy how it started out with 185 days, and now we are down to 56! AHH!! :) I'm so excited!!!! :D Also, I got my engagement pictures back, SUPER adorable! I really like them a lot. She did a fabulous job. Seriously go to Jaimee Young. You might have to go to Idaho Falls to get them done, but hey! She's amazing! :) So anyways, thought I would show you some of the cutest pictures in the world! :)

Holy moly! we are getting so close it's crazy! We took engagement pictures this last weekend, never had so much fun in my entire life! It was so fun taking pictures with him, he usually doesn't like taking pictures but he said it was a lot of fun taking pictures with me. :) aww, anyways, here are some sneak peeks. What's been going on. :)

Oh my goodness, I totally can't figure out how this happened! I swear yesterday it was 185 days, NOW IT'S 74  TILL MY WEDDING!! I can't wait. it's going to be one of the best days of my life. 




Speaking of one of the best days ever, WE ARE TAKING ENGAGEMENTS ON SATURDAY!!!!!!! I can't wait!! We are leaving on Saturday at 7 in the morning and we are going to Idaho Falls. Our Photographer is Jaimee Young. She's actually Daniel's sister's sister. (I know that probably doesn't make sense, but him and his sisters got adopted by different family's) so it'll be a good day. 


Oh, and Friday the 16th was another BSU game against Toledo and it was a little scary at first, but they won! you just have to have a little faith in them! :)

That's our registry. It's ridiculous how excited I am for this. :) I can't wait! It's so crazy that I'm so close to getting married!! Never in my life would I have thought that I would be 21 and engaged. Tomorrow, we are gonna finish registering at Target and maybe get some more stuff at Bed Bath, and Beyond. Oh my goodness! Ah!! 83 more days! :) I can't wait. 

Football Season!

That's right, my broncos beat the stinkin bulldogs over this weekend. And I couldn't be happier and excited! I'm so freaking happy! I was a little nervous, not gonna lie, but I'm soooo excited they won. :D

It's almost time!!!! :D

10 more days till some football!!!! woo hoo!!! I can hardly wait, the first game is in Georgia but I cannot wait to watch some football on the blue at home games!!! It's gonna be a great game, even if we lose, I will always cheer for my broncos. :) 










speaking of counting down... 99 MORE DAYS TILL I'M MARRIED!!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!!! I can't wait, that's gonna be a special day. :D

let's talk football! :)

tonight, I went to the Boise State football scrimmage game, and I'm not gonna lie, I got pretty gosh darn excited for football to start. I'm always excited for football to start, but I'm soooo excited this year. This is Kellen Moore's last year as a college quarterback. That makes me so sad! I've watched him all these years and I gained a little crush on him! (I really don't know how Daniel feels about that... haha, but he likes Reba, so it's all good. ;)) anyways, from right now there is 14 days!!! Yay!!!! and also, speaking of counting down days. 103 days till I get married!! Woo hoo!!! I can hardly wait!! :D

My cousin's wedding

This weekend I went to Utah for my cousin's wedding. I went with my family and I left Daniel in Boise to work. I about died. okay not really, but I pretty much almost died from missing him... okay that's a bit dramatic, but it's kinda true. I was glad to spend some time with my family tho! That was so fun. When I saw my cousin walk out those temple doors, I couldn't help but be a little jealous of him and his new wife. I wanted to be married then... haha it made me super excited too! In 107 days, I will be married to the love of my life for time and all eternity. :D I can't wait. It's gonna be the best day ever!!! :D 

six months ago today. :D

six months ago today I had a party that changed my life. It was when I first met Daniel. :) it's crazy to think that only six months and a day ago I didn't even know him. I'm so lucky that he's in my life. He's been the greatest. :) and today his cousin came into town from going to school at BYU-Idaho and she's spending the night before she leaves to go to her home in Alaska, it's been fun getting to know her more, and I'm excited that we are going to be family soon. :D We have just been laughing a lot over really pointless things. it's been great. :D 

5 months people!

Today, I have 5 more months(152 days)  till I change my name!!! I'm so excited!!!! :D :D

I look at my life and I have a great life, and I look at me and Daniel and I think really hard and think... "how the heck did I get so lucky to be with him? There are a million other girls in this world and he chooses me." I am so lucky. :) 


and only 156 more days till I am married to him! :) So excited.

158 days till I am Emily Romrell! I am so freaking excited!!! :) :) :) That seriously sounds like the cutest name in the whole entire world!! :D 

Fun (and not so fun) week!

So this last week was so fun. I just hung out with my man all week, but on Thursday, it was extra special because it was his birthday. as you all may know, I made him a cake and dinner which I never do, surprisingly it turned out well! and then we watched one of his favorite movies. and then on Friday, we agreed that before we get married, we would get in better shape so we agreed that we would go jogging, but right as we got out there, I started whining and being annoying, and Daniel wasn't too happy with me... I wouldn't blame him! I would have not too happy with me either! and then on Saturday we had his party, which included Idaho Pizza and bowling and then watched another of his favorite movies, that was sooo fun. and then Sunday, we went over to my parents and had a birthday party with him and my sister and celebrated Father's day. that was fun too. It's been a great week/end. I'm glad my life is great. :) 

Sometimes I even wonder about me... :)

haha I'm so blonde sometimes... So when we were driving through Yellowstone on our way to Wyoming a couple weeks ago, there was a frozen lake and all of a sudden I blurted out... "how do fish breathe?" and Daniel looks at me confused and was like "what??" and then I was like "Don't they have to come up for air??" haha oh dear.

Daniel's birthday! :)

Today was Daniel's birthday, about a month ago, I was trying to decide what to get him for his birthday, I was asking some of my friends what they think I should get him and someone asked me what he liked, I was like, well he likes blah and blah and hot chocolate! and then she was like, well make him a mug or something! that would be cute! so I went online and googled "customized mugs" and it came up with a website that I could put a picture and words on the bottom, so I put a picture of us and on the bottom, I put "World's cutest couple." I was so excited, that I forgot his birthday was a month away... so I bought it... haha I was so tempted more than once to give it to him. 

So anyways, while he was at work, I made him a cake and I was kinda nervous not gonna lie, (even tho it was store bought... :) haha) cuz I don't cook, and even tho I don't cook, I made him dinner. :) Chicken Alfredo! So he came over and we had dinner and he opened his present and had cake and ice cream. and then we went on a walk and kind of reenacted our first date/hang out day... it was fun. :) and then we came back and watched one of his favorite movies "Despicable Me." it was really fun. :) he told me that it was one of the greatest birthday's he's had! but it's not over! We still have his party thing on Saturday and my sister's birthday is on Sunday so we are celebrating it again on Sunday with her. So that will be fun. I'm so happy it turned out well! :) 

He literally blew out all his candles on the first try. I was impressed. :) 

job searching

This is how I feel when I'm looking for jobs... 

I just want to rip my hair out... It's so frustrating! I put in applications and no one calls me back... It's kind of annoying. Oh well, I guess I'll just keep searching!

Family time. gotta love it. :)

today, Daniel and I went to my parents house to eat dinner, and I freaking love my family to death, about 10 minutes after we sat down to eat, my sister says something and we all burst out laughing. I mean, it probably wasn't funny to other people but to us it was pretty funny and I loved every minute of it, and I probably gained like 10 years of my life laughing so hard. Daniel probably thought I was crazy for laughing at something probably dumb but whatevs. :) and then after dinner we watched the Basketball game, it was so fun. I love my family. they are pretty great. :D

Wedding dress shopping

Today I went wedding dress shopping, and I went into Margene's Bridal thinking that I wouldn't find a dress today at all and I tried on the first one, and I LOVED it (this dress looked like one of Giselle's dresses on Enchanted with the slit) and then I tried on a couple more and then I put one on, and I loved it a lot. and then the manager put on a veil and I almost cried, I loved it, I could just see me wearing that on my wedding day. So in the end, I said "Yes to the dress" after an hour of looking. I got lucky. :D

The Proposal

I was having a Family Reunion in Wyoming on June 4th 2011 and Daniel thought it would be a good idea to go to Idaho Falls to meet his parents and grandparents a couple days before, on the 1st of June I met his parents and had dinner with them, then on the 2nd we went to his grandma's and had lunch, and then we went by the Idaho Falls temple to see where we would have a barbecue where he was putting it on... and when he told me we are having a barbecue I had my suspicions if he was going to propose to me or not, but then I was like, nah, he's not going to propose to me... so anyways, we got the place where it was going to take place and then on June 3rd 2011, we went to pick up his cousin in Rexburg and stopped at walmart to buy cups and plates and then we get to the place where it was and we pull up and it took me about a minute to realize that all my family was there with his family and I was like, "Is that my mom???" haha I was so confused! but then I was like oh my gosh, he IS going to propose today! I had an idea, so then we ate oh, and I should mention that Austin was there too since he lives in Idaho Falls. but anyways, we ate and then my mom suggested that we all take some pictures with all the kids with the Idaho Falls temple in the background and so we took a picture with my siblings, and then Daniel and his sister joined in and then the kids left and Austin joined in with Daniel and me and then Austin left and it was just Daniel and me, and I was trying to hug him to take a picture and he was trying to take the ring out of his pocket but I was like what the heck are you doing? and then he took the ring out and knelt down and said "Emily, will you marry me??" I was so shocked! haha but I said yes! and then after some hugging and all that jazz, Daniel said, okay Emily you get to choose which cake we have... this one? and it was an ugly "no" cupcake or this one? and it was a pretty "yes!" cake and I of course chose the "yes" cake! :) I'm so happy. I can't wait to marry Daniel in the Idaho Falls temple on December 2nd 2011. We're gonna have a great marriage. :)

How it all started

I met Daniel on January 22nd 2011, at my "year of no liking guys" party. Ironic, right? Well, let me back up and explain.

On January 8th 2010, I had one of many "let's just be friends" talks. I had it. after that happened I told myself that I would go as long as I could without liking any guys. I was so excited when I got to 1 month, and then 2 months, then I got to 7 months and I was so excited that I told my friend JoAnna that I got to 7 months, she told me that if I would make it a year she would throw me a party. So, when I made it to 9 months I told myself, "ya know, I can be happy without a guy, I can make it to a year! and then I would see really cute guys and my heart would be like... LIKE HIM!! and then I told myself, NO! I am going to make it to a year. and then the day came that I made it to a year and I got so excited that I forgot all about looking for the perfect guy.

My party was on January 22nd, 2011. I was so excited! It was a huge accomplishment for me that I wasn't thinking that about when I told my friends to come to my party that when my friend Austin told me that he  would bring his friend Daniel to the party. I wasn't like "oh is he cute??" like I usually do. anyways, the time of my party came and Austin came and I met Daniel but I didn't really think of anything mostly cuz my brain was still in the "year of no liking guys" mode for some reason. Anyways, as the time went on, I sang a song on the Karoake machine and then after Daniel was singing on the rock band or Karaoke (I don't remember...) and then I was sitting by Austin and he leaned over to me and said "Daniel thinks your cute" and so I was like, really??? but I still didn't think much of it, cuz well my brain was still in the mode, but I did notice that he was always sitting by me and stuff, and then Austin left and Daniel stayed till the end and when he left I went to say bye to him and he said "would you mind if I got your number from Austin?" I don't know why he didn't say "Can I get your number?" but the silly me said "Sure!" but anyways, I went back inside and I told JoAnna that he didn't ask for my number, but he did ask if Austin would give it to him, and I started freaking out because I wanted to get to know him more and my mind was going a bazillion miles a minute thinking, "is he gonna text me???" so anyways, the next day after church he texted me and I was like "oh my gosh, this isn't happening." so anyways, we started hanging out and we started holding hands, and cuddling and then on February 5th he told me he liked me and then I told him that I've never been kissed and then he said "really??? that's surprising, how would you feel if I was your first?" and then I said "ummm... okay??" I was a little nervous not gonna lie but he kissed me and at first I was like, "that was it?" haha but then I was like, Oh my gosh, I got my first kiss! so then we hung out more (no, we weren't "official" then... haha) and then on February 13th 2011, the day before Valentines day he said the words I thought I wouldn't hear in my life "would you like to be my girlfriend?" and I said "YES!!" and we have been the cutest couple ever since. and 3 months and 3 weeks after we started dating he proposed to me.
